Won’t Turn On

Won’t Drain/Fill
A properly functioning dishwasher is going to fill up and then drain once the dishes have been cleaned. If the dishwasher is not draining, it is likely a bad drain pump motor or drain hose. If it is the filling that is the problem, it is likely due to a broken door switch, float switch, or water inlet valve.
Won’t Clean Dishes
A dishwasher that isn’t cleaning the dishes is no more than a giant paperweight. When the dishwasher is failing to clean the dishes, it is probably because of a bad housing gasket, water tube, filter, or spray arm.
